Six years of brutal fighting have left unimaginable consequences in Syria.
It is one of the worst humanitarian crises of this century.
Quba Trust is active on the ground through our partners by providing aid to displaced families inside Syria and assistance to refugee families in neighbouring countries such as Lebanon.
We have been providing family survival packs, food boxes and winter clothing thanks to our generous donors.
When disaster strikes, Quba Trust is there to help.
Fighting poverty is never more difficult than in times of crisis. Disasters and conflict disrupt the lives of more than 500 million people every year. Quba Trust works has supported projects in more than 10 countries around the world, so we are able to respond to emergencies fast and make sure help gets to where it is needed most.
The first phase of Quba Trust’s response is to meet people’s basic needs, including food, water, sanitation, shelter and health care. Quba Trust emergency capacity – funds, resources, volunteers, staff and partner organisations – allows us to provide fast, effective assistance.
But our rapid emergency response is only the beginning. Quba Trust works with communities for the long term, to help rebuild lives and livelihoods, and to help communities reduce their vulnerability to similar events in the future.
Quba Trust does not just deal with the short-term needs of communities affected by disaster, but also stays there and tackles the long-term problem. Quba Trust expands its livelihoods programmes to distribute livestock, seeds, tools, and more. This helps people rebuild their lives and sustains them in the long-term.
